How to compare two casinos fairly
A side-by-side table makes two casinos look easy to rank, but the numbers only mean something when you compare like with like. We build every comparison from the same four checks we use in our reviews, so you can see where each casino is stronger and decide what matters to you.
1. Licensing and safety
Start here, because it shapes everything else. A licence from a strict regulator, such as the Malta Gaming Authority or the UK Gambling Commission, comes with rules on how player money is protected, how complaints are handled and which safer-gambling tools must be offered. An offshore licence, for example from Curaçao, can still be legitimate, but the protection and the routes for a dispute are usually weaker. When two casinos differ here, weigh that difference before any bonus.
2. Banking and payouts
Compare the methods you would actually use, not the length of the list. Check whether your preferred method works for withdrawals as well as deposits — our tables show a withdrawal marker only where a review states it — and look at the payout times each review lists. Crypto can be quick once a withdrawal is approved, while cards and bank transfers usually take longer; in every case the casino's own approval step and identity checks add time.
3. Bonus fairness
A larger headline offer is not automatically better. Compare the wagering requirement and what it applies to, the time limit, the maximum bet while wagering, excluded games and any cap on winnings. A smaller offer with light terms can be worth more in practice than a big package spread over several deposits with heavy wagering. Offers also change and vary by country, so read the current terms on the casino's own site.
4. Player experience
This covers the game library, how the site works on a phone, customer support and the responsible-gambling tools on offer — deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion. If you mostly play live dealer games or a particular studio's slots, check that each casino carries them before the other factors decide it for you.
Reading our scores
Each casino's score is our overall rating out of 5 from its full review. A higher score means the casino did better across our four checks as a whole; it does not mean it is the better choice for every player. A casino with a lower score can still suit you if it is strongest in the area you care most about, which is why each comparison spells out where each side is stronger.
Before you sign up
Check that the casino accepts players from where you live, that your payment method is offered in its cashier, and that you understand the bonus terms. Gambling is for adults (18+, or older where local law requires); set a budget and limits before you play, and never chase losses.
