Who we are
A review site built for players, not for operators
NextCasinoScout is an independent information and review site. We do not run a casino, take bets or hold anyone's money. Our job is to explain what an operator or a game actually offers — the licence behind it, the terms attached to its bonuses, how its cashier works and what its games pay — so you can make up your own mind before you deposit.
Gambling sites are good at headlines. A “200% bonus” or a “5,000x max win” tells you very little on its own. We put the conditions next to the number: the wagering that applies, the time you have to meet it, the bet limit while you do, and the fine print that decides whether an offer is worth claiming at all.
Everything is written for a general audience. You do not need to know what RTP or volatility means before you arrive — our reviews explain the terms where they use them, and every slot page collects the core numbers in one place.

Methodology
How we review
Every operator goes through the same four checks — licensing and safety, banking and payouts, bonus fairness, and player experience. Inside those checks, these are the criteria we look at.
Licensing & safety
Which authority licenses the operator, what that licence requires, and what it means for complaints and the protection of your funds. An offshore licence is not automatically a problem, but we say clearly when an operator holds one.
Banking & payouts
Payments & withdrawal speed
Deposit and withdrawal methods, minimums, how long withdrawals are listed to take, turnover rules on deposits, and when identity checks can be requested.
Bonus fairness
Bonus terms & wagering
The wagering multiplier and what it applies to (deposit, bonus or both), the deadline, the maximum bet while wagering, excluded games, caps on winnings and any verification needed before a bonus is credited.
Player experience
Game library & providers
How many games there are, which studios supply them, whether live dealer and in-house games are included, and how easy the lobby is to search and filter.
Customer support
Which channels exist, whether help is available around the clock, and whether important actions — like claiming a bonus — depend on contacting support.
Mobile & usability
Whether the site works properly on a phone, whether there is an app or a browser version, and how clearly the key information is presented.
Responsible-gambling tools
Deposit and loss limits, time-outs, self-exclusion and reality checks — what is available, and how easy it is to find and switch on.
We do not publish numeric weights for these criteria. Each review explains in writing which factors pulled its rating up or down.
From first look to published review
- 1
Collect the facts
We start from the operator's or studio's own published terms and specifications and the licence it holds. Specs are sourced from the provider and verified where possible.
- 2
Check it
Every slot review is checked against the game's published data (RTP versions, volatility, max win, feature rules). For casinos we go through the lobby, the cashier and the bonus terms the way a player would meet them.
- 3
Apply the same checks
The operator is assessed against the four checks and the criteria above — in exactly the same way, whether or not it is a commercial partner.
- 4
Rate and write it up
We give an overall rating out of 5 and explain it in plain language, with pros, cons and the conditions that matter most.
- 5
Date it and revisit
Reviews carry a last-updated date and are revised as things change — new bonus terms, a new licence, or a change in how an operator pays out.
How the rating works
Casinos and slots get one overall score from 0 to 5, shown with one decimal and as stars. It is an editorial judgement based on the checks above rather than a formula, and it is always explained in the review. The score also carries a band:
- Rated 4.7 out of 5: Excellent4.5 and above
- Rated 4.2 out of 5: Great4.0 to 4.4
- Rated 3.5 out of 5: Good3.0 to 3.9
- Rated 2.6 out of 5: Fairbelow 3.0
Editorial independence
How we make money — and why it doesn't change our ratings
NextCasinoScout is free to use. We may earn a commission when you sign up with a casino through links on our site, and that is how the site is paid for.
Commission never affects our ratings or editorial independence. Our methodology is applied the same way to every operator, paid partner or not, and a review can recommend against an operator we earn from.
- Operators cannot pay for a better rating or a higher position.
- We say plainly when an operator holds an offshore licence or sets demanding terms.
- Bonus headlines are always shown with the conditions that apply to them.
Casino call-to-action boxes carry an advertising note, and affiliate links are marked as sponsored for search engines.
Responsible gambling
Gambling should stay entertainment
18+You must be 18 or older, or the legal age in your country, to gamble. Treat any money you gamble as the cost of entertainment, never as a way to make money.
- Set a budget and a time limit before you start, and stop when you reach either one.
- Never chase losses, and never gamble with money meant for bills, rent or savings.
- Use the deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion tools that casinos provide.
- Take regular breaks, and don't gamble when you are stressed, upset or have been drinking.
- If it stops being fun, stop — free and confidential help is available.

Kim Larsen
Casino Expert
Kim Larsen reviews online casinos for NextCasinoScout as its Casino Expert and is based in Risskov, Denmark. He also writes about football statistics and betting markets for BettingStats.org, where he covers European and international leagues with a data-driven focus on Over/Under trends, both-teams-to-score (BTTS) patterns and comparisons between leagues. His approach puts what the numbers actually show ahead of pundit predictions. He is clear that statistics can inform a decision but never guarantee an outcome: set your limits first, never chase losses, and treat betting as entertainment rather than a source of income.

Frequently asked questions
Is NextCasinoScout independent?
Yes. We are an independent information and review site; we do not operate a casino or accept bets. We may earn a commission from some operators, but that never affects our ratings or what we write, and every operator is reviewed with the same methodology.
How do you rate casinos?
Every casino goes through the same four checks: licensing and safety, banking and payouts, bonus fairness, and player experience, including responsible-gambling tools. The result is one overall score out of 5, explained in the review. Scores of 4.5 and above are rated Excellent, 4.0 and above Great, and 3.0 and above Good.
Do you get paid by the casinos you review?
Sometimes. We may earn a commission when you sign up with a casino through links on our site. Operators cannot pay for a better rating, a higher position or the removal of criticism, and commission never affects our ratings or editorial independence.
How often are reviews updated?
Every review carries a last-updated date, and we revise reviews as things change — for example new bonus terms, a new licence or changes to payments. If you spot something that is out of date, please let us know.
Where is NextCasinoScout available?
The site is in English and can be read anywhere. Whether you can play at a casino we review depends on the operator and on the law where you live, and many operators are not available in every country. Only play where online gambling is legal for you, and only if you are 18 or older.
Do you guarantee winnings or give betting tips?
No. A rating describes the quality of a casino or game, not your chances of winning. Every casino game has a built-in house edge, and no strategy or pattern changes that.
How do I report an error?
Use our contact page to tell us which page is wrong and what should change. We check every reported error and correct the review where needed.
