Casinos licensed in Denmark
Every casino on this page holds a licence from the Danish Gambling Authority, Spillemyndigheden, which we have checked on the authority's official list of licence holders.
Danish licences come with clear bonus limits and the national ROFUS self-exclusion register. The guide below explains both, and how to check a licence yourself.

Who regulates gambling in Denmark
Online casino gambling in Denmark is licensed and supervised by the Danish Gambling Authority, Spillemyndigheden. An operator needs a Danish licence to offer online casino or betting to players in Denmark, and the authority publishes the list of licence holders together with the domains they are licensed to use.
We list a casino on this page only when we have found it on that official list.
What a Danish licence requires
Danish rules set specific limits on bonuses. According to the Danish Gambling Authority:
- a playthrough (wagering) requirement may not exceed 10 times;
- every game that can be used to meet the requirement must contribute 100 percent;
- a prize won while using a bonus may not itself be subject to a wagering requirement; and
- all terms must be presented clearly and prominently in direct connection with the offer.
Licensed operators must also be connected to ROFUS, the national self-exclusion register, and gambling is for adults only (18+).
ROFUS: self-exclusion
ROFUS is the Danish Gambling Authority's register of voluntarily excluded players. You can take a 24-hour break, exclude yourself for 1, 3 or 6 months, or choose a permanent exclusion. The register covers online gambling as well as land-based casinos and betting shops in Denmark, so one registration applies across licensed operators.
How to check a licence
Look up the operator on the Danish Gambling Authority's list of licence holders and confirm that the exact domain you are using is listed. A logo or a claim in the footer is not proof on its own; the official list is. Licence details can change, so check again if you return after a while.
How we verify casinos for this page
A casino appears here only after two checks. First, we review it in full — licence, games, bonus terms, payments and support — and give it our 0–5 score. Second, we look it up on the Danish Gambling Authority's list of licence holders and confirm that the exact domain the casino uses is listed there. If we cannot find that entry, the casino is not listed, however it describes itself elsewhere.
Licences can lapse, change hands or be withdrawn, so we re-check the register when we update a review, and we remove a casino from this page if its entry disappears. The order on the page follows our score; being licensed in Denmark earns a place on the list, not a higher rank.
Before you sign up
- Make sure the web address in your browser is the exact domain listed on the register, not a look-alike.
- Read the bonus terms in full before you accept an offer, even under strict national rules.
- Set your deposit and time limits when you open the account, not later.
- Keep your identity documents ready: licensed operators must verify who you are.
- Use the self-exclusion and help services below if gambling stops being fun.
Getting help
StopSpillet is the Danish Gambling Authority's helpline on problem gambling. It offers professional, impartial advice to players and their families by phone and chat. If gambling stops being fun, use ROFUS or call StopSpillet; both are free.
