Casinos licensed in Sweden
Every casino on this page holds a Swedish licence that we have checked in Spelinspektionen's official licence register, by the casino's own web address.
Swedish rules limit bonuses to your first time with an operator and connect every licence holder to the Spelpaus self-exclusion register. The guide below covers both.

Who regulates gambling in Sweden
Gambling in Sweden is regulated by the Swedish Gambling Authority, Spelinspektionen. Online casinos need a Swedish licence to offer games to players in Sweden, and the authority keeps a public licence register in which you can search by company or by web address.
We list a casino on this page only when its web address appears in that register.
What a Swedish licence requires
Swedish licence holders work under some of the strictest rules in Europe:
- bonuses may only be offered the first time a player gambles with the licence holder — no reload bonuses or ongoing bonus offers afterwards;
- players must be at least 18; and
- operators must be connected to Spelpaus, the national self-exclusion register.
Licence holders also have a duty of care: they must act to protect players from excessive gambling.
Spelpaus: self-exclusion
Spelpaus is Spelinspektionen's national self-exclusion service. You can exclude yourself from all registered gambling for 10 days, 1, 3 or 6 months, or until further notice (at least 12 months). A Spelpaus exclusion cannot be cancelled or ended early, which is the point: it gives you a break you cannot undo on impulse.
How to check a licence
Search Spelinspektionen's licence register for the exact web address you are using. The register shows the licence holder, the licence types and the period they are valid for. A footer badge alone is not proof; the register is.
How we verify casinos for this page
A casino appears here only after two checks. First, we review it in full — licence, games, bonus terms, payments and support — and give it our 0–5 score. Second, we look it up on Spelinspektionen's licence register and confirm that the exact domain the casino uses is listed there. If we cannot find that entry, the casino is not listed, however it describes itself elsewhere.
Licences can lapse, change hands or be withdrawn, so we re-check the register when we update a review, and we remove a casino from this page if its entry disappears. The order on the page follows our score; being licensed in Sweden earns a place on the list, not a higher rank.
Before you sign up
- Make sure the web address in your browser is the exact domain listed on the register, not a look-alike.
- Read the bonus terms in full before you accept an offer, even under strict national rules.
- Set your deposit and time limits when you open the account, not later.
- Keep your identity documents ready: licensed operators must verify who you are.
- Use the self-exclusion and help services below if gambling stops being fun.
Getting help
Stödlinjen offers free and anonymous support to anyone affected by gambling, including relatives. It is run by Stockholm County healthcare with support from the Public Health Agency of Sweden, and you do not need to give your name. Relatives can call as well, and the staff are bound by confidentiality. Alongside counselling, Stödlinjen offers digital self-help, support groups and routes into treatment. If you feel you are losing control, start with Spelpaus and talk to Stödlinjen.
